Classes resume on 30th January

The Advent season is really a beautiful time of the year among people. The anticipation of Christmas brings a sense of hope and a genuine feeling of great joy that brings families and communities together.  Importantly, we can all share in the Christmas story and the spirit of the season as we extend care and kindness to others.

The end of the 2018 school year is a time to reflect on all that has been celebrated and accomplished at our school, and to make plans for the future.  There have been many highlights in 2018 at Star of the Sea, too many to list, but many of which were positively affirmed in our recent External School Review.    These will inform our future directions and I look forward to sharing this report with you 2019.

Our 10th anniversary year will be remembered as one where the creativity, initiative and dedication of our staff and the wonderfully supportive parent and extended community, has enabled a richness in learning and teaching that has inspired each and every student to achieve success in their own way.

I'd like to extend thanks to everyone in our school community for the fabulous support that you have given to me and the staff during 2018, making this a great year at our school. I wish you all a very happy and holy Christmas, and I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

May Christ Light Your Way
