Premier's Reading Challenge

Our Premier’s Reading Challenge is going strong at Star of the Sea with over 80 entries already submitted. All students are required to read 20 books by 23 August in order to receive a special certificate from the Queensland Premier for their efforts.

If your child would like to participate, they can still pick up a record form from the office and return once they have finished the challenge.

Here at Star of the Sea, we are hosting an ‘in-house’ competition. For every entry received, a child’s name is put in the draw to win a prize. Each week at assembly, two winners will be drawn. We hope to encourage as many students as possible to join this wonderful challenge.

A very big congratulations to Year 2A for being the first class to have every student complete the challenge.
